TERMES AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL
The general terms and conditions of the online store color-us.com are drawn up in accordance with the applicable Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 163/2022, as amended, ZVPot-2), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 163/22, as amended, ZVOP-2), and the Electronic Communications Act (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 130/22, as amended, ZEKom-2).
The online store color-us.com, accessible at www.color-us.com (hereinafter: the Online Store), is operated by Studio Ma d.o.o., Savska loka 20, 4000 Kranj, VAT ID: SI62892592, company registration number: 5904781 (hereinafter: the Seller or Color Us).
These general terms and conditions govern the operation of the Online Store and regulate the rights and obligations of the Seller and users who make purchases through the Online Store (hereinafter: the Buyer).
The Buyer is bound by the general terms and conditions in effect at the time of purchase (placing the online order). Upon submitting an order, the Buyer is each time specifically reminded of the general terms and conditions and, by placing the order, confirms their familiarity and agreement with them.
2. SCOPE OF USE
The Seller enables purchases and delivery through the Online Store only to customers located within the European Union.
3. ACCESS TO INFORMATION
The Seller undertakes to always provide the following information to the Buyer:
- identity information of the Seller (company name, registered office, and registration number);
- contact details enabling the Buyer to quickly and effectively communicate with the Seller (email address, telephone number, etc.);
- information on the essential characteristics of the products or services offered in the Online Store, including after-sales services and warranties;
- information on the availability of products or services from the Online Store offer;
- delivery methods and terms for products or execution of services, especially the place and timeframe of delivery;
- prices, which must be clearly and unambiguously specified, including an indication of whether they include taxes, shipping costs, and other charges;
- payment methods;
- information on the validity period of the Online Store offer;
- information on the time frame in which withdrawal from the contract is still possible and the conditions for such withdrawal;
- information on the possibility of returning products and whether and how much such returns may cost the Buyer;
- information on the complaint procedure and contact person for communication with customers.
4. USERS
Users and customers of the Online Store may be:
- Registered customers, who have previously registered in the Online Store.
- Unregistered customers, who can make purchases without registration but do not have access to benefits and features available to registered customers.
5. PRODUCT OFFERING
Due to the nature of online sales, the Online Store’s offering may change daily. Products are accompanied by information taken from the product declaration or the supplier’s instructions; therefore, the Seller is not liable for any potential inaccuracies. Product images are symbolic and may differ from the actual product, but this does not affect the product’s characteristics.
All products that a visitor adds to the shopping cart and which do not include an availability note are in stock at the time of order.
The Seller reserves the right to not have a product in stock even if it is shown as available in the Online Store. If the ordered product is out of stock, the Seller will deliver the product to the Buyer no later than 5 business days after it becomes available again. If the Seller cannot deliver the product within 10 days after the order, the Seller will inform the Buyer in writing of the unavailability and automatically refund the amount paid within 3 business days of such notification.
6. PRODUCT PRICES
The applicable prices for delivered goods are those valid on the date the sales contract is concluded and are published on the website www.color-us.com.
The Online Store always displays the regular price, which is typically the recommended retail price by the supplier (hereinafter: Regular Price). When the price refers to a bundle of products, the regular price represents the sum of the recommended retail prices of the individual items.
Prices are valid at the moment the order is placed and do not have a predetermined validity. Discounts, promo codes, and similar benefits cannot be combined.
VAT and delivery cost
All prices (regular and promotional) include VAT.
7. ORDERING
The Buyer can monitor the current order in the "Cart" section and make changes until the “Confirm Order and Payment” step.
Your order constitutes an offer to enter into a purchase agreement. The Seller immediately confirms receipt of the order via email: order confirmation. The sales contract is concluded at the moment the Seller sends the Buyer an email confirming receipt of the order. From this moment on, all prices and purchase conditions are fixed and binding for both the Seller and the Buyer. The Buyer is the person whose details are provided when the order is placed. Later changes to buyer information are not possible. The order (or sales contract) is stored in electronic form on the Seller’s server.
8. PAYMENT FOR ORDERED PRODUCTS
Payment methods
The Online Store supports the following payment methods:
- debit or credit card (MasterCard®, Visa, Visa Electron)*;
- payment via PayPal;
- payment by proforma invoice.
*In certain cases, the Seller reserves the right to require payment via bank transfer based on a proforma invoice.
For cancellations or changes in the payment method when paying by credit card, notify us at info@color-us.com. The payer (account holder) must be the same person or legal entity as the cardholder.
Contract confirmation and invoice
After concluding the remote contract, the Seller will send the Buyer a PDF confirmation via email, no later than upon product delivery, in accordance with ZVPot-1.
After the ordered products are delivered, the Seller will email the Buyer a PDF invoice. A separate invoice is issued for each separate order or shipment. The Buyer must verify the accuracy of the invoice amount within one day of receiving the invoice. Later objections regarding invoice accuracy will not be considered.
9. ORDER TO DELIVERY PROCESS
After submitting the order, the Buyer receives an email confirming the order was received. The Seller may contact the Buyer by phone to verify order details or ensure accurate delivery.
If the supplier fails to confirm availability within two weeks of the order date, the Seller may cancel the order. In such cases, the Buyer will be notified and refunded within 3 business days.
The supplier will prepare the order and notify the Buyer of the shipment via email. This message will also include information about the withdrawal policy, delivery delays, and complaint procedures. If the Buyer cancels the order, they must immediately notify the Seller at info@color-us.com.
10. DELIVERY
Delivery
The Seller or their supplier may use any courier service. Delivery typically occurs within 3 business days of shipment, though it may take up to 10 days in rare cases.
Delivery cost
Standard delivery costs €5.50 unless the total order value from a single supplier exceeds €30. In that case, delivery is free.
Related products from the same supplier are shown during checkout to help increase order value.
If the value does not exceed €30, a delivery fee of €5.50 is charged.
Faster or special delivery options are charged according to the courier's price list and must be confirmed by the Buyer.
Delivery to another address
Packages can be delivered to a different address if specified by the Buyer during checkout.
11. WITHDRAWAL FROM CONTRACT
Buyers who are consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without stating any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must clearly notify the Seller of their decision to withdraw (e.g. via letter or email). The consumer may use the sample withdrawal form, available online or by email at info@color-us.com. Sending the withdrawal notice before the deadline is sufficient to meet the deadline.
Withdrawal is not allowed for:
- goods whose price depends on market fluctuations;
- custom-made or personalized products;
- perishable goods or goods with a short shelf-life;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons if opened after delivery.
Until withdrawal, the Buyer must not freely use the goods beyond what is necessary to inspect them. Improper handling may be considered usage, resulting in loss of the right to withdraw.
The Buyer is liable for any diminished value resulting from improper handling.
12. RETURN OF GOODS
If the Buyer withdraws, the goods must be returned to the Seller (or original sender) immediately or within 14 days at the latest. Timely return is met if shipped before the 14-day deadline.
All return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer.
Goods must be returned to the sender from which they were received, which may be a different Slovenian company.
Returned goods must be undamaged, in original packaging, and in unchanged quantity, unless the damage occurred without Buyer’s fault.
If the package is visibly damaged, the Buyer must make a delivery record with the courier or refuse the package.
Refunds
Refunds for returned products will be made within 14 days of receipt.
Only the paid amount is refunded. Discounts or bundled offers are not refunded.
Refunds are issued via the same payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Buy-back at reduced price
In exceptional cases where goods do not meet return criteria, the Seller may offer to repurchase them at a reduced price. This must be confirmed by the Buyer via email.
The amount is credited to the Buyer's account for future purchases.
This is at the Seller’s sole discretion.
Withdrawal from bundles
If withdrawing from a product bundle, the Buyer must withdraw from the entire bundle.
13. WARRANTY
For goods with an issued warranty, the Seller shall deliver a warranty certificate no later than at the time of delivery. Products requiring a mandatory one-year warranty are specified in the applicable regulations.
The warranty is valid if the conditions in the warranty certificate are followed.
The Buyer can claim the warranty from the guarantor (the company providing the warranty) or an authorized service provider.
If the product does not meet the specifications stated in the warranty certificate or advertisement, the Buyer may request repair. If not repaired within 30 days from the date the guarantor received the request, the guarantor must replace the item with a new, fault-free product at no charge. The 30-day period may be extended by up to 15 days, depending on the nature and complexity of the item. The manufacturer must notify the Buyer of the extension and reasons before the original deadline expires.
If not repaired or replaced, the Buyer may request a full refund or a proportional reduction in the purchase price.
Regardless of the above, if the defect appears within 30 days from delivery, the Buyer may immediately request a full refund.
Warranty availability is listed on each product page in the Online Store. If not stated, no warranty is provided. Buyers can always contact the Seller for current information.
14. GUARANTEE OF PRODUCT CONFORMITY
The Seller guarantees that goods supplied to the consumer conform to the contract if:
- they match the description, type, quantity, and quality stated in the contract;
- they are suitable for the purpose disclosed by the consumer, and the Seller agreed to that purpose;
- they include all accessories and instructions as stated in the contract;
- they are up to date as agreed in the contract.
(These are referred to as subjective conformity requirements.)
Additionally, the goods must:
- be suitable for their typical intended use, complying with relevant legislation or industry standards;
- match the sample or model shown before the sale, if applicable;
- include packaging and instructions the consumer can reasonably expect;
- have durability, functionality, compatibility, and safety typically expected for such products, as indicated in any advertising or labeling.
(These are referred to as objective conformity requirements.)
The Seller is liable for any non-conformity present at delivery and for any that arises within two years from delivery. Non-conformity appearing within one year is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise.
The Seller is not liable for non-conformity if:
- the consumer was clearly informed that certain product characteristics deviate from the standards, and
- the consumer explicitly accepted the deviation.
Consumers must notify the Seller of non-conformity within two months of discovering it via email (info@color-us.com) and describe the issue in detail. The product must be made available for inspection.
In the event of non-conformity, the consumer may, in this order:
- request repair or replacement free of charge;
- request a proportional price reduction or withdraw from the contract with a refund.
These rights are governed in detail by ZVPot-1.
Return of items after warranty or defect handling
The Buyer must accept returned items after repair or review. Items are returned by post. If not accepted within 14 days, they are stored for up to 6 months. The Seller may charge €1/day for storage and related costs.
After 6 months, the Seller may sell the item and send the remaining value (after costs) to the Buyer. If the item is of low value, it may be donated, and no refund is owed. The Buyer will be informed 15 days before this deadline.
Products with opened packaging
Items with opened packaging may have minor defects (e.g., damaged box). The defect is clearly stated for each item. These items are inspected and remain functional.
Warranty duration is updated accordingly and displayed on each product. Buyers can still claim warranty service and withdraw under standard conditions.
Types of "opened packaging" items:
- Opened packaging: fully functional, reduced price, warranty applies.
- Damaged packaging: packaging may be incomplete or non-original, item is functional.
- Damaged item: may have cosmetic flaws, reduced price, warranty applies.
- Used item: returned by another customer, may show signs of use.
- Serviced item: repaired by an authorized center, fully functional.
15. ONLINE SECURITY
The Seller uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data and payments. A 128-bit SSL certificate issued by an authorized body is used.
16. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
The Seller recognizes personal data protection as a fundamental human right. Personal data will be collected, processed, and stored only for legally permitted purposes.
All data is treated as strictly confidential, governed by internal data protection procedures and policies.

COOKIES
The Online Store may place cookies on a visitor’s browser. Cookies help track visits and interest but do not store identifiable data. Visitors can accept or reject cookies through browser settings.
Types of cookies used
- Essential cookies: necessary for the website’s operation; always active.
Example cookies:
- cookiePolicy – 10 years – stores user’s cookie consent.
- session cookies – active during login, used to track cart items.
No other cookies are currently used.
17. COMMUNICATION AND ADVERTISING
The Seller will contact the Buyer or other users of the Online Store via remote communication means (SMS, MMS, or email) only if the Buyer or user has expressly consented to such communication in advance, in accordance with ZEKom-2.
Regardless, the Seller may use the email address obtained during a purchase for direct marketing of similar products, provided the Buyer did not object to such use at the time the contact was collected or in subsequent communications.
Promotional emails will include the following:
- They will be clearly and unmistakably marked as advertising;
- The sender and advertiser will be clearly indicated;
- Special promotions, discounts, and other offers will be clearly marked as such;
- Participation conditions will be clearly stated;
- An unsubscribe link will be included;
- The Seller will fully respect the user's request to stop receiving advertising communications.
18. REVIEWS, OPINIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Reviews, ratings, and comments submitted by Buyers are part of the Online Store's functionality and are intended for the benefit of the entire user community.
Any user may submit a review, but all submissions are reviewed before being published. The Seller will not publish content that is offensive, inappropriate, or deemed unhelpful to customers.
Only reviews from customers who have actually purchased or used the product will be published. Each review is verified by the Seller before being made public.
By submitting a review or comment, the user expressly agrees to the terms of use and grants the Seller permission to publish part or all of the content in electronic or other media. The Seller may use the content for unlimited time and for any purpose in its business interest, including advertising.
The author also declares that material copyrights for the submitted reviews and comments are transferred to the Seller on a non-exclusive and unlimited basis.
19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Seller is not the manufacturer of the products and (except as required by law) assumes no liability for consequences of product use, especially if used contrary to instructions or intended purpose.
All content in the Online Store is informational and should not replace professional advice, product manuals, or labels.
The Seller is not liable for damage to hardware or software or for viruses that may affect users' devices due to visiting the Online Store or downloading content.
The Seller reserves the right to disable access to the Online Store due to technical issues or maintenance, and is not liable for any resulting damages or costs.
The Online Store may contain links to third-party websites. The Seller is not responsible for their content or operation.
In case of technical issues, the Seller reserves the right to cancel affected orders without being liable for damages. Buyers will be notified and guided through the next steps.
Each user is responsible for the security of their account and for the accuracy of the data provided. The Seller is not liable for damages caused by inaccurate or false information.
The Seller is not responsible for the accuracy or content of customer reviews or comments posted on the Online Store.

21. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES
The Seller complies with applicable consumer protection laws and has an effective complaint handling system and a designated contact person for customer support. Complaints can be sent via email to info@color-us.com.
The complaint process is confidential. The Seller will acknowledge receipt within 5 working days and keep the Buyer informed throughout the process. The Seller will strive to resolve disputes amicably.
In accordance with applicable law, the Seller publishes a link to the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, available here:

The Seller does not recognize any out-of-court dispute resolution provider as competent to handle consumer disputes under the Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 81/15).
These terms and conditions and any disputes between the Seller and Buyer are governed by Slovenian substantive law. The rules of private international law referring to other jurisdictions do not apply. For any matters not covered by these terms, the provisions of the Obligations Code, ZEKom-2, ZVOP-2, and ZVPot-1 shall apply.
22. PURCHASE BY LEGAL ENTITIES (NON-CONSUMERS)
Purchases by legal entities follow the same process as for consumers, except that the entity must select "invoice to company" and confirm the terms and conditions.
Legal entities do not have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. Sole proprietors and companies may return products only under warranty conditions. Refunds are not available.
For legal entity purchases, the Seller's liability for material defects is excluded.
Even non-consumers may use promo codes.
Accepted payment methods for legal entities:
- debit or credit card (MasterCard®, Visa, Visa Electron);
- bank transfer based on an offer or proforma invoice.
23. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These general terms and conditions may be changed at any time. Buyers are advised to read them before every purchase.
For each order, the version of the terms published at the time of the order applies. Registered users will be informed of changes upon their next login.
These general terms and conditions were adopted by the Seller on March 19, 2025, and last updated on March 26, 2025. They have been in force since March 26, 2025.
